In the world of book publishing, Susi Oberhelman is admired for her unique ability to combine modern graphics with classic sensibility. She has created hundreds of highly illustrated books that look fresh and appealing years after publication. After the success of her early work, Oberhelman was recruited as the first Art Director for book producers Smallwood & Stewart. She later joined Artisan, the acclaimed illustrated books division of Workman Publishing.

To broaden her base, Oberhelman has formed SVO Graphic Design; her roster of clients includes the most esteemed publishers: Aperture, Rizzoli, HarperCollins, Hearst Books, Simon & Schuster, and Stewart, Tabori & Chang. While gift-book design is the core of SVO Graphic Design, the firm continues to diversity it's client services, developing corporate identities, promotional items and personal stationery.
